I think I saw hunter play touch of gray in '79 ( actually 1980)

I knew it had been around for awhile.

Annotated says first time played by GD in Sept. 82. But also notes that Hunter mentions flipping through journal prior to that re earlier version of lyrics

David Gans played a Robert Hunter solo Touch from 82 several years ago. I don't know of any before that...
